Skull's Stuff

G'day mates. This is where you can find stuff written by me. And that's about all. (It's a cruel world. <g>) If you find any profundity in these pages, please let me know so I can gloat over my inadvertent intelligence and paste it on my fridge.

filks

The Greatest Truth of All

Filk of "The Greatest Love of All". My first X-Files filk eVaH.

Margaret Scully's Lot is Not a Happy One

Filk of "A Policeman's Lot is Not a Happy One", from "The Pirates of Penzance" by Gilbert and Sullivan, in which I played Mabel in twelfth grade, about which you do not care.

It's a Jolly FBI with Scully

Filk of "It's a Jolly Holiday with Mary" from "Mary Poppins". A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down and contributes to tooth decay and childhood obesity.

Inside a Spaceship

Filk of "Under the Boardwalk". My take on the 'ship. Hey look, a pun.

Basement Down the Stairs

Filk of "Castle on a Cloud" from "Les Miserables". I had PMS when I wrote it. And that's the story I'm stickin' to.

Think of Me

Filk of "Think of Me" from "Phantom of the Opera". Otherwise known as the Song of the Severed. Whining and Dying at its most annoying.

Kill the Bee

Filk of "With Cat-Like Tread" from Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance". This one comes from the heart.

Away Goes the Good Hair

Filk of "Away in a Manger", and courtesy of the Orison hair thread.

A Whole New World

Filk of "A Whole New World" from Disney's "Aladdin". Contains a bad word, because nothing rhymes with crap.

I Really Want to Hurt Him

Filk of "I Don't Know How to Love Him" from "Jesus Christ Superstar". Sadism that rhymes.

Think of Me (Fest Version)

Filk of "Think of Me (Song of the Severed)", which was a filk of "Think of Me" from "Phantom of the Opera". Yes, I filked my own filk.

Mulder in the Sky with Hybrids

Filk of "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" by the Beatles. Because it had to be done.

Missing at FEST

Filk of "My Favourite Things" from "The Sound of Music". I shall never reveal the number of times I have watched that movie. It does not fit in with my reputation at all. (Aderyn note:You have a reputation?)

Rabbits Every Night

Filk of "Music of the Night" from "Phantom of the Opera". Noromos should not read without the benefit of sedatives.

homework assignments

Flowbee ("Scully")

Assignment: "Please explain to the class exactly HOW Mulder's hair got to looking like that ONCE AGAIN. Extra credit if Scully's hair looks fabulous."

The Claw Monster

Assignment: "Mulder and Scully start off the new year chasing something called a 'claw monster', and toss in a carnival of some sort for fun, and, um, you must include a NON-NC17 song that includes the phrase 'ride you like a pony.'"

Road Trip ("The Smoker")

Assignment: "Scully is on a road trip with CancerMan. Why? Who drives? What do they eat? Does CancerMan also munch on sunflower seeds? Does Scully listen to and 80s retro station on the radio and sing along with "I might like you better if we slept together"? Are they visiting a fishmonger? Is a bed vibrating and someone is pissed off? Who has a farm in Africa? Is there a SUPR SAVR? I don't care. Except it must rhyme. Now run along. Anyone that rhymes PANSPERMIA gets extra credit."

Fourth of July

Assignment: "Your assignment should include fireworks, an obscure scientist, and a talking badge. Crackers or lettuce for extra credit. Which could be tictacs or a "tip" from me at the next fest."

Special Rania Homework

Assignment: "Your homework must include:
At least one cheeto.
Scully sweating in a tank top.
A common word spelled backwards.
A rhyme."

Homework for a Slow Day ("The Punkish Mulder-Man")

Assignment: "Imagine a scenario where someone tells Scully 'Honest to God, you just jump at whatever explanation is wildest and most farfetched, don't you?' There should also be a POODLE. And glycoprotiens (look it up). And extra credit for working in those boots. You know the ones. Or a poem. I'm feeling generous with the tic tacs today."
